This meeting is gives a broad introduction to Buddhist meditation, ideas, and practice. A typical class consists of a guided meditation to reduce stress, tension and distractions, followed by a short lecture in how to apply Buddhist principles into daily life. I wanted to start a group that meets in the area after looking around and only finding that many were in Baltmore City or that it was a special interest group. I figure that I cant be the only one in the area looking to socialize and make new friends.
